Our mat is made of high-density Microfoam Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC). It is very durable and doesn't release any unpleasant smell. The smell of "new" will quickly disappear after laying the mat for 1-2 days before use.

Can yoga mats be used with shoes on?

This Yoga mat is designed for barefoot use and should not be used with shoes on. Using shoes on a yoga mat can cause damage to the mat's surface and reduce its overall durability.

Will it stay secure on the tile or carpet floor? Does it slip or slide while using it?

Our mat comes with a carrying bag, 2-3 hook and loop straps (depending on the size), and a microfiber towel. After each use, simply wipe clean the mat, roll it up, and secure it with the straps and bag. You can also keep it out for quick access.
