These brand new futon mattresses come in a black color that may be slightly different from the advertised photo. If you need a color that matches your decor, we're happy to send you a color sample. The mattresses meet flame retardant requirements, and may have a slight smell due to the materials used. Simply leave the mattress near an open window for a few days, and the smell will disappear.

To save on shipping costs, we compress the mattresses into smaller boxes. When you receive the package, the mattress may be corrugated and slightly shorter in width and length. However, by stretching and pulling the ends, the mattress will regain its original size after a few uses.

Cleaning the mattress is simple - we recommend using a mattress cover for protection and spot cleaning as needed. The cover cannot be removed for washing, but the mattress can be aired out in the sun or near an open window for freshening.
